WINTER 2026 - Season #14
REGISTRATION OPENS OCTOBER 3RD, 2025

League Season: Jan 10th to Feburary 28th, 2026

Games will be held on Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Games Location: Natomas High School - 3301 Fong Ranch Rd, Sacramento, CA 95834

Practices: Airfield Park – 2491 Natomas Crossing Drive, Sacramento, CA -OR- Natomas High School (Details to be released at skills evaluation)

ALL Clinic and Player Evaluations will be on SATURDAY, JANUARY 10TH, 2026 - RAIN OR SHINE:

Ages 7 & 8 - 8:30 AM
Ages 9 & 10 - 8:30 AM
Ages 11 & 12 - 10:30 AM
Girls Ages 8 to 14 - 10:30 AM
Ages 13 & 14- 12:00 PM
HS GIRLS- 12:00 PM
HS BOYS (UP TO AGES 16)- 12:00 PM

(All players must attend to be placed on a team.)

Get ready for an exhilarating season ahead. The RCSA Winter youth football league is all set to kick off in January 2026, and we are absolutely thrilled to celebrate our 13th season of bringing fun and community together through the love of football! This year, our Co-Ed league is excited to welcome youth ages 4 to 14, as well as energetic High School students in 9th through 11th grades, to join in the action. At RCSA, we are committed to providing an unforgettable experience for all children who participate. To achieve this, we rely on passionate volunteers from our community. That’s where you come in! We need dedicated individuals who are excited to help foster a genuine love for flag football among the kids. Whether you have a passion for coaching, enjoy scorekeeping, or would like to referee, we invite you to be a part of our vibrant community. All practices will be held @ Airfield Park or Natomas High School. Your team practice days and times will be determined by coaches following the skills evaluation of your age group.

There will be one optional practice (the coach will determine the day and time in conjunction with the parents) and one game per week. The league will run from Jan 10th, 2026, to February 28th, 2026, and will be capped off with a Mini In-House tournament* for Divisions 2 (9-10), Divisions 1 (11-12), PRO Division (13-14), & HS Girls & Girls Division (Ages 8 to 10 & Ages 11-14).

A skills competition* will be held at the end of the year for Division 3 (7-8), and Division 4 (5-6). *Depends on the number of kids.

Both the tournament and Skills competition are optional and can be canceled at the discretion of the RCSA board*

Costs

The cost is per player and includes a team jersey (TOP ONLY) and a mouthpiece. Shorts without pockets can be purchased for $15 The prices are listed below:

$145 if you register before Dec 4TH, 2025 (Regular registration)

$170 if you register on or after Dec 5TH 2025

Opportunities

If you would like to REFEREE or Volunteer (Check-in, parent liaison, field maintenance) and want your child to play in our league, you would receive a discount code that would reduce your registration for your child. You must email info.rcssacramento@gmail.com to express interest and receive your discount code.

You must SUBMIT a coaching interest form (we have limited spots for each age group for coaching, refereeing, etc), complete a volunteer application, and submit your child's registration before December 4th, 2025

You will also be required to attend the mandatory coaches meeting with the RCSA (TBD) before being allowed to coach in our league. You will also need to be fingerprinted. The form will be available at the meeting. ALL NEW AND RETURNING COACHES MUST ATTEND THE MEETING.

If you decide to volunteer with us after the December 4, 2025, deadline, you are required to pay the full registration cost.

* The first day of league games will begin on Saturday, January 24th, 2026. There will be six games, and they will take place between 8 am and 1 pm. A mini in-house tournament for age groups nine and up, and an optional skills competition (ages 4-6, and 7 & 8) after the last week of the league.

* Picture Day will be held the 3rd week of league play, (TBD), 2026. Times will be provided the week of.

** The RCSA Youth Flag Football League is not in association with any other flag football organization or with the Natomas Unified School District or Natomas Charter School**

A: Registration for the RCSA Youth Flag Football League can be completed quickly through our online portal. To pay for registration, follow these steps:
