Games will be held on FRIDAYS between 5:00 P.M. and 9:30 PM

Get ready for an exhilarating season ahead. The RCSA SPRING youth football league is all set to kick off in April 2026, and we are absolutely thrilled to celebrate our 15th season of bringing fun and community together through the love of football! This year, our Co-Ed league is excited to welcome youth ages 4 to 14, as well as energetic High School students in 9th through 11th grades, to join in the action. At RCSA, we are committed to providing an unforgettable experience for all children who participate. To achieve this, we rely on passionate volunteers from our community. That’s where you come in! We need dedicated individuals who are excited to help foster a genuine love for flag football among the kids. Whether you have a passion for coaching, enjoy scorekeeping, or would like to referee, we invite you to be a part of our vibrant community. All practices will be held @ Airfield Park or Westlake Park. Your team's practice days and times will be determined by the coaches after the skills evaluation for your age group.
There will be one optional practice (the coach will determine the day and time in conjunction with the parents) and one game per week. The league will run from April 17th, 2026, to May 22nd, 2026, and will be capped off with a Mini In-House tournament* for Divisions 2 (9-10), Divisions 1 (11-12), PRO Division (13-14), & HS Girls & Girls Division (Ages 8 to 10 & Ages 11-14).
A skills competition* will be held at the end of the year for Division 3 (7-8), and Division 4 (5-6). *Depends on the number of kids.
Both the tournament and Skills competition are optional and can be canceled at the discretion of the RCSA board*
Costs
The cost is per player and includes a team jersey (TOP ONLY) and a mouthpiece. Shorts without pockets can be purchased for $15 The prices are listed below:

Opportunities
If you would like to REFEREE or Volunteer (Check-in, parent liaison, field maintenance) and want your child to play in our league, you would receive a discount code that would reduce your registration for your child. You must email info.rcssacramento@gmail.com to express interest and receive your discount code.
You must SUBMIT a coaching interest form (we have limited spots for each age group for coaching, refereeing, etc), complete a volunteer application, and submit your child's registration before march 30th, 2026
You will also be required to attend the mandatory coaches meeting with the RCSA (TBD) before being allowed to coach in our league. You will also need to be fingerprinted. The form will be available at the meeting. ALL NEW AND RETURNING COACHES MUST ATTEND THE MEETING.
If you decide to volunteer with us after the March 21st, 2026, deadline, you are required to pay the full registration cost.

* The first day of league games will begin on FRIDAY, APRIL 17th, 2026. There will be six games, all taking place between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM. A mini in-house tournament for age groups nine and up, and an optional skills competition (ages 4-6, and 7 & 8) after the last week of the league.
* Picture Day will be held the 3rd week of league play, (TBD), 2026. Times will be provided the week of.
